Why a PT Should Write Your Program

Many online programs are built for healthy people with no meaningful injury history. But many people are not that person. You have an old shoulder injury that flares up on pressing days. A knee that does not love deep squats. A back that gets cranky after heavy deadlifts.

A trainer sees those as limitations. We see them as data points. We know how those symptoms affect training, what may be involved, and how to program around them, not by avoiding the movement, but by building capacity in the right order so you can build more tolerance for it.

We are physical therapists who program. We understand injury history, movement limitations, tissue healing timelines, and how to build around all of it. That is not something a weekend certification teaches you.

Built For

Post-Rehab Athletes

You finished PT and need a real training program, not a discharge sheet with 3 exercises.

Remote Athletes

You are not near our clinics but want expert-level programming from people who understand your body.

Injury-Prone Lifters

You keep getting hurt and want someone who can program around your history while building you up.

Active Adults

You want to get stronger, stay healthy, and train with a system, not random workouts from Instagram.

How It Works

01

APPLY

Fill out our intake form. We ask about your training history, injury history, current equipment, schedule, and goals. This is not a generic sign-up. We need to understand your body before we program for it.

02

ONBOARD

We review your application, set up a video call to discuss your goals and movement history, and get you set up on the CoachRX app. If we think you need rehab before training, we will let you know, and we can handle that too.

03

PROGRAM

Your first training block drops into the app. Every exercise has video demos and detailed notes. Programming is periodized. We plan in 4-6 week blocks with progressive overload built in. Not random workouts. A system.

04

TRAIN & ADJUST

You train. You log. You submit form checks when needed. At the end of each block, we review your data (loads, RPE, pain reports, movement quality) and adjust the next block accordingly. Your program evolves as you do.

A Typical Week

Programs vary based on your goals and schedule, but here is what a standard 4-day training week might look like.

Monday

Lower Body, Strength

Back squat, RDL, Bulgarian split squat, calf work, core

Tuesday

Upper Body, Push Focus

Bench press, overhead press, dips, triceps, lateral raises

Thursday

Lower Body, Power + Accessory

Trap bar deadlift, box jumps, leg press, hamstring curls, hip work

Friday

Upper Body, Pull Focus

Pull-ups, barbell rows, face pulls, biceps, rear delts

Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday are rest or conditioning days, programmed based on your goals. Every exercise includes video demos and coaching notes.

Common Questions

Online Strength Programming

Many online programs are built for people without a complicated injury history. We are Doctors of Physical Therapy. That background helps us account for movement limitations, prior injuries, pain, and tissue capacity when we program.
No. This is training. If you are currently injured and need physical therapy, we offer that separately (in-person and online). This program is for people who are healthy or post-rehab and want ongoing, structured strength programming from someone who understands their body.
We deliver programming through CoachRX. You get a mobile app with your full program, video demonstrations of every exercise, the ability to log your workouts, submit form check videos, and message your coach directly.
Pricing depends on the level of programming and communication you need. We offer tiered options starting from programming-only up to full coaching with weekly check-ins. Contact us for current pricing. We will match you with the right tier based on your goals.
We build your program around your schedule, not the other way around. Three days a week can be enough for many people to make progress. Training frequency can range from 2-6 days per week depending on goals and availability.
A barbell, rack, dumbbells, and a bench cover much of what we program. If you train at a home gym with limited equipment, we work with what you have. If you train at a commercial gym, even better. Tell us your setup and we build around it.
